Modern Entrepreneurship: Episode #1 - Entrepreneurial Readiness Assessment
Entrepreneurship isn’t for the faint of heart. I started my own business almost five years ago, and I work harder now than I did when I had a full time job in Corporate America. I’m a service provider, a business development and strategic marketing consultant, working primarily with nonprofit professional associations of color to help them attract, engage and retain members as well as generate non dues revenue. I was inspired to start this podcast series as a result of my networking activities. I’d attend some event to prospect for new clients, or build awareness of my brand, and inevitably be surrounded by a group of aspiring women entrepreneurs who’d all say and ask the same thing: “I wish I could start my own business, how did you do it?"
If you think entrepreneurship could be for you, but you aren’t sure, then you are going to enjoy this episode because my guest today is Raymond A. Jimenez, a father, husband, and highly respected healthcare executive whose career epitomizes the achievement of success through hard work, having a high EQ or emotional intelligence level, and transformational leadership.
In this episode you’re going learn:
How to determine if you’re really ready to become an entrepreneur
Whether or not entrepreneurship is the right path for you
What you can do to make sure your business thrives and survives
and so much more!
